South Carolina Infant Mental Health Association's Study Group is a professional development opportunity open to all SCIMHA members.
SCIMHA's study group is an interactive experience that works best when all attendees actively participate. We will join together in a reflective space and will focus on how our work and life experiences relate to the information shared in the professional development offering.
SCIMHA's study group will meet to review the journal Article:
Honoring Race and Diversity in Reflective Supervision: Guiding Principles to Enhance Relationships
Karol Wilson, West Bloomfield, Michigan, and Carla C. Barron, Merrill Palmer Skillman Institute, Wayne State University
READ THE ARTICLE
This study group session will be facilitated by Kristyn Driver, LISW-CP, IMH-E®, SCIMHA's Reflective Supervision Program Manager and Megan Smith, MT-BC, LCAT, IMH-E®, SCIMHA's IECMH Training and Reflective Supervision Specialist.
Participating in Study Group:
1. Please read the journal article prior to the study group gathering.
2. Turn your microphone and video camera on for the best interactive discussion experience.
*Time spent at this event counts towards IMH-E® and ECMH-E® training or renewal requirements. We recommend consulting the competency guidelines associated with your Endorsement® category to confirm. Please contact Jean Cimino at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
