IECMH Certificate
The IECMH Certificate program prepares professionals from multiple disciplines to support the social, emotional and mental health needs of young children and their families in a variety of settings. The trainings were developed to address theoretical and direct service Endorsement competencies.
We offer three certificate levels ranging in scope – Foundations, Advanced and Clinical. All three certificate programs seek to:
- Articulate core concepts around infant and early childhood mental health.
- Identify ways to apply these concepts into your professional role.
- Integrate a diversity, equity and inclusion lens while conceptualizing work with infants, young children and their families.
While available to all IECMH professionals, the Foundations Certificate is also delivered by faculty at partner colleges and universities to undergraduate students in specific degree programs. The goal is to provide this information to students before they enter the workforce and better support them as infant mental health-informed professionals.
